It’s been quiet around here lately. Even though I backed off my 1000 words per day goal, I didn’t intend for it to go so dark here. My apologies to you, dear reader. I hope to get back into a steady rhythm again in the coming days.
I’ve been writing a lot at work recently, both technical documents and business stuff. My appetite for writing after work has been low. That stuff seems to be slowing down now. At least I’m feeling like putting words together again in my free time.
I’ve also been working on a longer essay about shipping code in today’s AI-assisted coding landscape. It’s about the tension between wanting to treat the LLM as a compiler and still shipping code as the artifact of the machine’s output. I like where it’s headed, but it’s taking some time to finish.
All that to say, more is on the way here very soon.
